He may be set for Real Madrid but David De Gea been crowned Manchester United's Player of the Year by both fans and players.
The
Spanish goalkeeper, who has been heavily linked with a move to the La
Liga giants, picked up both prizes at Tuesday night's end of season
awards ceremony at Old Trafford.
The
24-year-old, yet to pen a new deal at United, beat competition from the
likes of Ashley Young and Juan Mata to scoop the awards.

In front of 700 guests at the red carpet event, De Gea was not asked about his future by co-host Jim Rosenthal.
Accepting
the award, the former Atletico Madrid man said: 'I want to say thank
you to my teammates, they have been fantastic this season and I think we
have a very good dressing room.
'I love them.'
Earlier in the evening manager Louis van Gaal had warned the club's stars of a 'rough' summer ahead as he reshapes his squad.
'I
don't think you have to keep the whole selection, because when you
purchase other players, you get another stimulus in the group also, and
that you need,' he said.

The Dutchman added that De Gea was his own choice for player of the season thanks to his 'fantastic development'.
